The Glass Academy
Founded by the owners of FURNACE Hot Glass LLC, the Glass Academy was established with the premises to teach about the glass arts, both in technical skills and art appreciation. The Michigan proprietary trade school introduces students to a variety of techniques including glass blowing, neon, lampworking and stained glass.

The facility provides an environment where students can live the Academy’s motto: “Explore Your Creativity”
While the new studios provide an excellent environment for instruction, the instructors provide a nurturing environment for learning. Nationally recognized and highly respected instructors assist students in achieving their full potential.
Classes are available Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with the exception of New Year’s, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Class sizes are limited to 8 – 12 students, depending on the chosen course of study. Participating students must be at least 18 years of age.
